Lauterbach & Amen, LLP is a multi-dimensional and multi-service accounting firm
which has exclusively served the government sector for over 10 years. L&A
provides monthly accounting and bookkeeping services for police and firefighter
pension funds, libraries, and other small units of government. L&A also provides
audit, consulting, and assurance services to municipalities, park districts, pension
funds, libraries, emergency telephone dispatch centers, and other units of
government.
Lauterbach & Amen, LLP was founded by two partners, Sherry Lauterbach and
Ron Amen, who have extensive governmental auditing and consulting backgrounds,
as well as private sector experience. Sherry Lauterbach has worked exclusively
with the pension and municipal sectors for over 30 years. Ron Amen brings more
than 20 years of experience servicing Illinois local governments.
On January 1, 2010 Lauterbach & Amen, LLP welcomed three new partners to the
firm. Jamie Wilkey, Allison Barrett, and Nathan Gaskill.
